Overnight last night it resnc'd and now bitswap is on in both directions. I also have a sync rate of 35376/10344 with S/N of 7db and speedtest to Worldnet of 33.19/9.21 and 19ms Ping.
Testing to one host in LA gave me 9.42/3.37 and 148ms and another gave 12.20/9.19 and 152ms
Pretty impressed so far!

I'd be happy. I wonder why ADSL lines tend to have less international speed?

It's about 1.6km, and I can confirm that as it is how far I am from exchange (via cable, not road) and syncing virtually same speed as was my ADSL2+ speeds.


how did you manage to get VDSL from that far out?
also how do i know how far i am from the exchange? from the maps i am around 700m from an exchange across the road but from the chorus manual test my attenuation is so high i can't be only 700m?
