Domino99:Do I just ask them to change the IP or pay for a static one?
Asking for Static IP add-on might be worthwhile if it helps you get off the bad IP range (60.234.115.0/24) faster, usually charged at $10/month I would ask them to waive charges if it fixes your problem.
We are definatly on that range so will call tomorrow and see if they will do an IP change or I will pay for a static one. I'm so glad I found this thread thanks.

Ok so called them and finally got a supervisior on the line and he said this is a known issue for newly connected customers. They have logged a fault with Vocus on Thursday and haven't had a reply yet. We can't even test the static IP because Provisioning only work monday to friday and he will have to call me back tomorrow to test that. I have expressed my disgust at being fobbed off for 4 days and multiple calls. So we are still waiting for it to be fixed.
Seems to have been some movement last night 23:28 they updated routing registry database details

Google still routing traffic to Brisbane though... would expect a bit more urgency as that's where any Google Public DNS queries you sent but not getting responses back to are heading...

You would think it would be urgent but sounds like they aren't bothered. They are sending out their modem but I can't see if that will make any difference to be honest.

Update:- they swapped us to a 103 ip address and we now have internet, I had to do a full reset on the modem to get everything back online but thank god. The supervisor is worth talking too.

Out of curiosity are you getting the correct download speeds ?
On the wired laptop 900mbps down 450 mbps up, wiireless 366 mbps down 470 mbps up.
I have found it can take time to settle.

Was that prior to the IP change or after ?

Looks like they made further changes this morning, possibly issued new IPs to everyone affected.
Ok so they must be working on this now as my IP has changed a bit now 60.234.14.xxx and I can now play some games and open apps that wouldnt work since the transfer, however the speed is still garbage.
