Athlonite: out of them both I'd choose Orcon (and I did) tongue-out

Poor Athlonite for picking the wrong provider :(

When you select a preferred date for them to come out Saturdays and Sundays aren't an option.

I might try calling and asking for it, it might not be an option because everyone would chose it but if I ask they might allow it.

anyone know the costs of static ips on these plans? the only price I found was vodafone at $20.40 a month (which is really overrpiced compared to the $5 a month im currently paying snap for one).

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Could you please confirm that johnr?  The $20 I am paying at one location for a STatic IP *really* rips my undies.

JamesL: Only thing I could fine is that it's $5 for fibre customers: http://community.vodafone.co.nz/t5/Broadband-landline-packs/UFB-Naked-Broadband-amp-Static-IP/m-p/121861/highlight/true#M7005

Hi,
Fibre is billed from the same system as Cable hence $5 static IP's fopr that service.
Current ADSL and VDSL for Vodafone is $20.40 as per website.

Regards

$20 is ridiculous, even with the bundled add-ons that are pointless

TimA can you please ask the relevant team to review this?  Having to buy the whole Internet Pack when you only need a Static IP really is uneconomic.

On my office VDSL connection (predating Vodafone coming to the VDSL party) which is on a residential plan, I get one Static IP free and I pay $5/month for a second Static IP (greedy I know).  AFAIK I'm not using a 'budget' provider.

Cheers
Mike
