So interesting case on my lines..
ADSL line up the road, is not migrated.
My ADSL line is migrated (Pulling toenails to get this confirmation out of the RSP here...)
^ this being a bit of a chorus records thing....
My VDSL line ofcourse is not upgraded yet, but that is to be expected by the timeline.
I'm a little sad that i didnt have my testing platform monitoring things over the period..
however headline stats...
13/1 line, now running at 17/1.2.
Crosstalk on my VDSL line has lowered, which is nice to see.
at another headline, Reduction in output power and an extra 200kbit upstream.. Thats really quite nice..

After a couple of days got a pretty good improvement. Up has gone from 10 to 15 and down 40-45 on VDSL in Kapiti.

Can you post your line stats?

Kinda looking forward to ddDLM on VDSL, right now i'm almost bettering VDSL with an ADSL link!
Total flip of the coin from before ddDLM was turned on, Interesting development.

Any further improvement? I have a similar line so I'm living vicariously through you...

I'm away this week. I'll update it on Friday or Saturday
So thought i'd update this on my line..
Had a line fault on my VDSL line that caused crosstalk onto my adsl ddDLM line.
ddDLM did its job, it changed the DS SNR to 12dB, after turning my bad line off 3 days later ddDLM trained down to 9dB, Throughout all of this keeping upstream on 6dB.
Overall, that is working great tbh, far more reactive than the old DLM-2 -> DLM-1 style of profiling lines!
The one slight bug i would point out is, at 4AM the line resynced, attainable hit 15mbit (as expected for 9dB) however connection would only land on a 12dB snr.
later on in the evening, carried out another power cycle which pulled the line down to the 9dB training margin (and thus on the 15mbit rate)
i put the above likely down to some sort of validation period in the profile switching.

coffeebaron: My friend and neighbour was sitting on approx 11-12Mbps sync, no VDSL due to multiple grrrr! After ddDLM, 15-16Mbps sync, 6dB. Upstream also now a little over 1Mbps, previously 800-900Kbps.
its great to see isn't it?

line has gone to 17a which is why the download has dropped down (17a has lower maximum power levels)
the increase in upstream is obviously 17a has more specturm i'd expect for the most part.
Your also running right down at 6dB.
I'd question why your line with the length that it is, has gone to 17a though tbh, i'd argue its a better line for 8b.
Maybe @BMarquis might be able to comment there given his earlier comments in the thread on 17a?
@Richms your DSLAM has not been upgraded on the VDSL side, just ADSL if your not unlucky. (i don't recall your actual dslam but am aware of the rollout plans and your in auckland not kapti)

Well then, guess the majority of VDSL lines are going to jump to 17a considering the above line has jumped being a marginal line
