Just received a call from the OP.  He has dialtone & ADSL2+ broadband restored.

Big thanks to our service company partner Transfield for pulling together a custom design & implementing so quickly.

ChorusVan: As per our previous post, there is a solution being built to resolve this issue.

Broadband for the OP should be restored by connecting to the ISAM in the nearest cabinet in the next couple of days.

Two days. Hm. However, we are now reconnected, as of about fifteen minutes ago, back up at 15.4 megabits. I even gained a little upload speed (1,029 kbits per second) in addition. I've sent off a message to ChorusVan privately to thank him. And I also want to thank the geekzone community for the support I got from these forums. I guess I know where to come when I have a problem I can't sort out through the normal channels.
