I had a MyRepublic door knocker last night. They seem to be using your website as a sales strategy, because they know MyRepublic will appear first for any address. Obviously this is based on them being the cheapest, but not necessarily the best. The problem is, many customers (not me) will simply interpret that result as meaning they are the best overall provider for them. This is not a criticism of your website, just pointing out what MyRepublic are doing.

By the way, the salesperson was also claiming that MyRepublic will get better speeds than other ISPs, and several other outlandish claims. I pointed out that he was wrong, and that MyRepublic had been performing worse than other ISPs lately.

Wow, this is great when ISPs using our website :)

Anyway, I understand your concern about "good/bad" definitions here. Soon (I hope, very soon), we are going to announce and publish some features for users. So, users will be able to change ISP rating.

Ok folks, this is not cool. Stuff Fibre is number one just as but two after launch? How many users? How did you collect feedback?

Not sure this can be reliable research. Time to come absolutely clean on this.

Hi there, I do not know what are you talking about but this is not true. Stuff fibre is not taking the first place.

Just checked - Stuff Fibre - 8th place without any filters selected.

Ordering by "price for the first month" rather than "average price over the life of the contract" is false advertising.  MyRepublic shows up if I say my budget is <$60/month ... anyone who signs up with them on that basis is going to be very unhappy when they're still in a contract and the introductory price has gone.

Soon, we are going to add "average monthly price" for contract plans or overall price per year.

Have not decided yet which one is better for people to understand the prices.

Thank you for your notice.

We've contacted with Stuff Fibre and informed them about their incorrect ads. They assured us that this ad will be removed shortly.

This is the kind of thing I would involve my IP lawyer. Using your brand to promote their stuff (no pun intended).

Their own self-promoting ads are about as reliable as their 'reporting'. Nice one Stuff.
