Does telecom manage p2p traffic 24/7? I was on telecom ADSL 150gb plan and switched over to unlimited data plan four days ago. I just noticed that p2p downloading speed stays below 50 kB/s even during the off-peak time. This doesn't quite make sense to me as all other forms of downloading (files from internet, steam, origin...etc) is quite fast during the day; I get steady 1500~1900 kB/s of downloading speed. I am curious why these kind of traffic are left untouched when they should be managed while p2p traffic is de-prioritised at all times. Doesn't this defeat the purpose of applying the traffic management policy?

I have gotten over 3mbp/s on a torrent, if you would like I can try again today.

I am on the Fibre 100 Unlimited with Telecom, and was getting 10.2MB/sec last night about 9pm. I guess it's possible the fibre & DSL customers are in different pools.
10 days ago I contacted all ISPs offering unlimited Internet data plans asking the price with a static IP address. This is a summary of the replies, in order they were received:
Slingshot - $99 with prioritised traffic.
Woosh - No price given.
Orcon - $125.35 ADSL, $136.85 VDSL.
Telecom - Not available.
Vodafone - Sent two email with no information. Still waiting for an answer.
So it would appear Slingshot is the best value, but Orcon the better performance offering. The rest don't appear to want my money.
