perfect! how did http://fritz.box/login_sid.lua go?

It's in there too. I forgot to mention that I'd pasted them both in. Everything in the sessioninfo tag is login_sid.lua.

ah! didnt notice that..

i can change that, and cover the login process for both firmwares then, add detection for the statistics.

so DLM hit again today, shoved me back to DLM-4 from DLM-2 ... odd thing about it, my CRCPM was 1.43

wonder if changing the firmware broke something :/

on the upside, new firmware is correctly showing INP 1.0 for DLM-4..

seems my upload channel finally lists the attention and the SNR magin went up a tad..

so, this will require finding your sid, but worth a bit of a play..

http://fritz.box/query.lua?crc=sar:status/ds_crc_minute&dsatt=sar:status/ds_attenuation&sid=b5a4871fcd48e25c

once again, not sure if this works on the older firmware.. didnt have telnet to know there what the url was for queries..

sar is the modem interface, header file (bit outta date) lists ALL the fields possibly available .. http://gpl.back2roots.org/source/fritzbox/7390_5.20/GPL-release_kernel/linux/include/linux/dsl_avm_event.h

That's very convenient. It does work on the older firmware. Is there a list of the names of the available fields somewhere?

short of header files, can try a german wiki site..

http://www.wehavemorefun.de/fritzbox/Category:UI-Status-Module

the information there is a little hit and miss however :/

=/ =\
The graphs still don't match the figures.
The error rate seems way too high for DLM-2. It's shot up if that graph is to be trusted. And that's after increasing SNR from max performance to the middle option (2 notches). Pretty big 15 noise margin on there.

Any guesses what's going on?

I don't suppose rain has anything to do with it?

That's what i wondered also. There's been plenty of rain in the waikato. No one used the internet till 4pm today, hence the sudden spike on the graph.
I guess you can't call in a fault like that even if it was rain causing it since its not causing disconnections? It was perfectly fine when it was dry i think.... hmm.

You've got line issues there I reckon buddy!  Might be time to get snap / chorus in on the issue.  It would pay to build up a bit of a history of issues first tho.

Hmm, okay, i might give them a yell. I just have a feeling they will tell me they won't investigate unless its unstable/slow speed etc. Or want to charge a lot for it.
The line connects immediately to cat5e to a RJ45 into the fritz and nothing else in the house, so unless theres something majorly wrong with my two gel splicers, there must be a problem with the line out to the road and beyond.

Hence the gathering of a history of issues. It's possible it's the modem, but less likely in your case IMO.

Think this is a sufficient manner of gathering data? It's just every screenshot ive taken since installation.
