Hiya,

We have a job, where we need to run a cable from one end of a street to the other (100m), possibly even across the road.

Is it possible to use chorus cables for this? What do they charge?

I am assuming all cables go to the exchange so to run a cable from 5 any street to 24 any street wouldnt work?

I cant really imagine chrous would let you use any spare pairs  in their cable for anything other than phone services.

The product you want (Chorus jumpering pairs at the exchange/cabinet to form a P2P link) is no longer available.

100m isn't that far. Why isn't it an option?

The Data that customers were putting through was interfering with other customers connections.
As Chorus were not able to control the CO modem's (Apart from by T's&C's) they removed the service.
They started by putting dfata filters on the pairs first.
