I live in Albany Auckland, Address as per Chorus cabinet map i'm at the southern end of  Hobson Road, Paremoremo, North Shore City.

According to the map i'm connected to the exchange which must be nearly 3km away, according to my Modem stats: 
Speed up7552kbps down896kbps Line Attenuation 9db Noise Margin 11db
I'm connected to someting alot closer an ADSL1 cabinet?

From what i can see you are connected directly to the exchange,

Think I may hsve figured it out. I found a cabinet at the corner of Hobson/Paremoremo roads, Its labled ALY/AP. I think its part of the RBI, guess i just 1 cabinet to far for decent speeds.
