NonprayingMantis: step 1:
sign up to www.unblock-us.com (free trial, no credit card required for trial period, $5US/month after that)
very easy to set up.
Step 2:
Enjoy previously restricted sites on your Pc, and apps on your conected TV or Ps3/Xbox360 such as Netflix ($8US/month), Crackle (free, movies but with ads) Hulu (free) Hulu Plus (~$8/month) 4oD (free, heaps of channel 4 back catalogue), bbc iplayer etc etc
for reference, 1 HD movie on Netflix uses around 3GB (depending on length of course) so you have plenty of stuff to try out.
Digmarx:
- Upload critical files to Dropbox/Skydrive/Google Drive/$_TrustedCloudBackupService
- Start serving a website from home; blog, WHS remote access, etc.
- Seed (legitimate) torrents
Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
jofizz: Do we know if iPlayer or a similar service have the F1 and Olympics?
I don't have SKY, no plans to get it, would be great to watch F1 live, and have more options for Olympics than the presumably highlights only that will make it to FTA TV.
Cheers,
Joseph

Starwars porn is getting HD so you may need the extra bandwith. Its also a curse because you can now see finer deyails like butt pimples.
