Hi, recently i think they have upgraded my exchange to ADSL2+. However this seem to have made my connection slower. I have done nothing else during this time. This seems strange to me, I know im right at the end of the line but i was still under the impression it would be at least the same speed i was getting prior. Do you guys have any idea how this could of happened? Ive included links of my modems info page with it forced down to ADSL and what it defaults to.

Based upon the attenuation figures in that you're getting about the speed you should be getting.

Unfurtunately without a lot more information including your exact location, distance to a cabinet/exchange, connection type, and a brief description of your home wiring and whether you have a master DSL filter installed there isn't a lot else people are going to be able to tell you.

I would suggest contacting your provider and carrying out full troubleshooting before logging a fault.

Issues like this are best dealt with on the provider end as they have access to more information and tools than most of the forum users.

Thanks,
Ben

As Steve says, short of moving closer you are not going to get much better, in some countries (and I think Chorus has started now) they would refuse to connect you if you were a new connection with that attenuation (57dB is approx 4.2km of line).

ADSL2+ will only give better results if you are less than 2-2.5km of line, you would possibly be better off locking it back to ADSL (G.dmt)
