Looking for a plan that has a 5GB plus data cap, download speed not so important as long as it's higher than 256k. Nervous about getting caught out by high overage charges. Auckland area. Prefer no bundled toll calls. Suggestions?

Check out Orcon. They have a great system where you pick your speed then how much data you want. They also have very good overage rates. $10 for 5GB as opposed to $20/GB on xtra.

I just made the switch from xtra yesterday.

For good tubes to YouTube's internets, you'd want a provider with plenty of international capacity I reckon. Finding one such beast is tricky though, as I don't know of any provider that'll tell you how much international bandwidth it has.
