Is Maxnet going down the path of putting all their high users in a pool?
I received this email from them yesterday and I will be interested to see if speeds stay as they were....they promises they will increase so I will update here after the change today...
"With the commitment to providing you a great internet service in mind, we will be undertaking a change to your connection. You are a high performance high volume user therefore we see it fitting to move you onto a new and improved part of our network to ensure you continue to get the best experience possible.
The reason for the move is so we can seek to deliver an increase in connection speed, less variance in speed at certain times of the day as well as more stability and lower latency.
The shift is scheduled for sometime in the next few days. Your modem should automatically change over to the new network without any intervention however, if your internet does stop working please turn your modem off, wait 30 seconds and then turn it back on. If this does not work please try this again in 5 minutes.
If you cannot connect to the internet after a second attempt, please call our the Maxnet helpdesk on 0800 MAXNET.
Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter. We understand that the Internet is important to you so, please rest assured, we are doing everything we can to deliver you the best ADSL service in the country."
