I'm in a year one area, the diggers were in my street "Laying fibre" (according to a chorus letter). But they left 6 months ago.

Chorus says that UFB 100M is available at my address, Orcon's form used to say "RSN" but now says "By the end of the year". Slingshots form doesn't look smart enough to say anything specific, and basically says "We'll get back to you".

Are there people in Wellington actually _connected_ ?

Orcon's tool needs work, I currently HAVE UFB fiber connected and the Orcon tool said I should have fiber by the end of the year too

Most problems are the result of previous solutions...

Don't trust the tool, get them to run a proper pre qualification on the address. More than likely it has been available for 6 months and you can connect now.
