Hi everyone

First time poster here and I have an unusual error that I cannot think of a solution to.

Some details:

I live in a flat with 3 others and all of us are having this error.
We are using slingshot as our ISP
We have a Dynalink G604T Router

We can all connect to international websites just fine however most sites that end with the .co.nz suffix will not connect ever. This includes sites like flatfinder, trademe, stuff and the metservice. However .ac.nz and .govt.nz work just fine for any site. In addition certain .co.nz sites will connect like the National Bank. I have checked all my settings and it just seems so strange. Anyone have any idea why this might be or where I can look for some more info on this problem?

Luke

I'd check the DNS server settings if possible. Have you tried manually setting them to slingshots or anyone elses (xtras old DNS servers are 202.27.184.3 and 202.27.184.5)  servers?

Are you able to resolve (get IP's from DNS) those names at all? Or when you try and connect does it time out?

Cokemaster is right. The DNSChanger.A virus has been making its rounds lately and this has been affecting people trying to access local websites.
