Hey there,
I've got a client who just moved to New Zealand from Norway 2 weeks ago. He's very tech-illiterate and wants me to find the best deal for him. Price isn't too much of a concern.
As far as needs go, he's moving to a house in Glenfield on the 17th and wants good broadband and a landline. He also wants to be able to call home a lot, most of the "international calling" packages offered by Vodafone and Orcon don't include Norway.
I'm not sure if he wants Sky TV or not. Doesn't seem like something he'd be interested in.
I looked into Skype, but their Norway options seem limited. VoIP services are acceptable as long as the quality is good. He just wants something that works (and I don't want to be over there every other week sorting things out). An iPhone app would be a bonus. He bought a calling card but the rates were still pretty exorbitant.
As far as mobile goes, his employer bought him a Vodafone Prepay microSIM for his iPhone 4. He doesn't like this (he'd rather a bill just came). It seems like 2degrees offer the best on-account rates for data and calling.
Any suggestions?
Cheers
