Hi

Any other users not connected to the internet currently. We have no connection at home. The light that is usually green on our router is now orange. Apparently it has not been connected all day.

I just got home and found that fyx support closes at 5pm, dang.

No Fyx here either. As per the network status page:

We are aware of a fibre cut affecting our ADSL Broadband customers. The ETA as at 3:30pm today is 6-10hours.

:(

Bottom footer (edit: as opposed to the other kind of footer!), next to the copyright notice.

Same one affecting Digital Island? What's up with a single fibre taking ISP out or is it only for a local area on the Chorus side?

They have both a facebook and twitter account, yet nothing mentioned. Think they all went home at 5.

There has been a major fibre cut affecting BUBA DSL traffic. The full detail will be available in the coming days.

ETA is 10pm however might be sooner :)

The fibre splicing guys are hard at work

Does maxnet have their own data center? Would of thought there would be more diversity than that. Granted a 96 core is a pretty massive deal isnt that why DC's have diverse routes for their connection to the world
