For a new build, is it permissible or recommended to bring the fibre up inside the wall cavity rather than up an external conduit with an ETP on the outside wall

Means one less wall penetration, however I suspect Chorus/Telecom would like to have that official demarc point?

2nd time I posted this on today :)

It really does need to be sticky somewhere heh

Anyone thats wanting to DIY for fibre HAS to follow these guidelines if they don't get a contractor to.

Failure to comply with this information may result in a refusal to connect the
premises to the network, with the cost of rectifying any sub-standard
installation to be met by the customer.

Hell no. Always bring the duct up on the exterior and it is only a small penetration through the outside wall.
