Hi

I have awesome connection now.. and interesting..
I got new temp cable from road to house.. my cable is so old it was causing problems... So will be digging a new trench in next week or so..

Was getting
- 2mb down 0.7 up
- 40ms ping
- errors galore

Now
- 10mb down 1 up
- 11 ping (interleaving off)
- 1 error a min..

Interesting fact.. I have a fixed IP address with Xtra. but when I use fixed IP my ping increases to 30ms? Anyone got ideas why this is?

Dean

Sounds like the fixed IP uses routes on a different part of the network.

Time to find a new industry!
