Choice. It’s finally here! For residents in BOF areas that have previously never had any choice on who provides their internet and phone, the wait is over. From 1 April 2013, these areas will be open to all telecommunications service providers. That said, many still cannot provide a fibre-based service to residents, as they don’t have the infrastructure or products available for the market. The good news is, Snap does and can provide internet and phone services to these areas. No more being held to ransom, we’re here to make your broadband experience as good as it gets, 24/7.

And it doesn’t get any better than this: Switch to Snap now, and you could be enjoying up to 6 months free internet and phone.

There are a few T&C’s to this offer, but to see if your address qualifies, head to https://myaccount.snap.net.nz/signup/home, check it out and see if you can love up to 6 months free internet.

Cheers, Ralph

Ralph, your site says my address not available to get UFB, yet I'm in one of those locked-down BOF areas. Your offer interests me.

Will your checker change on 1 April, or should I ring Snap to check and see?

Ok, my address isn't in Chorus' street finder database for some reason, but Ralph confirmed manually that Snap can supply me with UFB next month, so rang Snap to get the order underway :)

Signed for a 2-year contract, $75/month (first 6 months free) for 50 GB and VoIP line, able to retain same home phone number. Did opt to pay $50 to get a 4-port Fritz box router that I'll get to keep, instead of a 2-port router. No other install costs.

Snap said on 2 April they will submit the order to Chorus, so hopefully will get switched over next month sometime :)

It's a good deal. Going to be connected before I move into the new house at end of April. Oh yeah I'm happy...

Have Chorus converted all BoF areas to UFB or just the ones in Chorus' UFB areas?
