Evening (err morning...12:39am).

We've just finished updating version #2 of our Tauranga Ultra Fast Broadband checker.

http://www.fullflavourmedia.co.nz/services/ultra-fast-fibre-broadband-tauranga

We get regular database updates from the LFC and as soon as they come through they are imported into our address checking tool.

If you're in Tauranga (or have friends/family in Tauranga) I'd appreciate you giving it a whirl and reporting any issues using the tool back onto this thread.

Thanks to those who got in touch.

Now aware of the issue with single digit addresses (i.e. 1, 2, 3...) and dozens of results coming back, we'll have this resolved shortly.

While it's a public service to the general public, it's a lead generation tool for us.

November 2014 at my address which will be earlier than my Auckland address. That will be OK with me as I won't be moving from Auckland for at least 5 years..

Nice to see you rolling out down there..

Someone's got to do it !

On a side note - Tauranga's rollout will be complete in 2016. Most other areas, 2019. Yet another reason to migrate to our town :)

It'd be good to see a 100/50 residential plan with unmetered off peak usage (by that, I mean it doesn't count towards the 'fair usage' amount).

We already have this in place with our Fair Use policy - the system doesn't look at usage between Midnight & 7am when it automatically alerts us to users hitting the Fair Usage level (which alerts us to review an account, not take any billing or suspension action).

We've got no plans to introduce a 100/50 residential plan but any customer (residential or business) are welcome to sign up for our "Business 50" and "Business 100" plans.

Or you can use this one;

https://b2b.northpower.com/public/fibre/national.html

This will give you the coverage areas for all UltrafastFibre Coverage areas;
Tauranga, Tokoroa, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Wanganui, Hamilton and New Plymouth.

Also NorthPower's coverage areas up north e.g Whangarei

They share the same GIS portal, have at it ladies and gents :)
