Folks... We're working to start a new project here in the next couple of week, sponsored by one of the local ISPs.

Even if you're not with them it will be an interesting project with discussions that may potentially influence services with other providers.

All will be clear in the coming weeks. We will probably create a new forum just for that.

Your guesses can begin - and if you reply here I will email you with the news before it even goes live.

freitasm:
dylandylandylan: I can't speak for that specific router, but I've found that all the routers supplied by telcos in the past have been near to the bottom of the barrel.
I didn't look back when I invested in a third-party router (an Asus) if you can justify buying one, i'd say go for it.

~Dylan.

This might be about to change, if a project we're working on goes ahead next month...

Hmm, is it a better router for isp's?

Geekzone as an ISP.

Naturally, all traffic to Geekzone website is zero-rated.  :-)

That's an idea. Might put geekzone.net.nz to a good use then.

An idiot filter... stupid people are automatically removed from forums.

(If you can read this, then it is not currently active)

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Some good suggestions so far. I like the idea of a router, as some of the ISP offerings are not that great.

(This post mainly to get the early email from MF with the details!)
