Anyone else struck any new fibre feed roadside cabinets with no DSL ports spare? I thought these were pretty much almost 1-1 mapping of DSL to lines; so port waiters were a thing of the past?

This is an RBI cabinet, but is still a full size single bay; not the new smaller style.

Happens more than you would think. Even if the krone modules are there doesn't mean there is a card plugged in to them. Even around Palmy here there are cabinets with a full 288 subscribers and more gear needed to be added.

Kumeu/F wass originally a copper cabinet with a 300 pair feeder cable.

Under the RBI upgrade we  laid fibre to the cabinet site & replaced the old cross-connect cabinet with a Single-Bay Whisper cabinet housing an ISAM to supply broadband.

If you have a customer that can't get service it is unlikely to be a lack of ports in the cabinet.  Can you DM me the exact address with the problem?  Possibly a problem elsewhere, give me the details and we can advise.
