Hi..well it looks like they have got this going in three locations now...10 down and 3 up.....and plans to expand it on their wireless network.

I haven't got it here yet in Tuakau off the Pukekohe hill mast but hope to have it soon....they recently updated the Compass wireless web page with the news!!

Regards

Laurie

I was talking with them yesterday. Pukekohe won't be done for another 6 months or so as it is an "important" hub for their network. I guess it is to do with bandwidth management.

Also I have been experiencing slow speeds recently. They will be adding another sector into the Puke base station to add more bandwidth and reduce contention.

FYI they have been really good, trying to get us connected to the Pokeno one..its was one of those hazy overcast Cold days and their tech guy Kevin could'nt get a signal...he thought in the end that there was a house/tree cutting off line of sight from our place here in Tuakau.....he spent three hours here and also fixed a RJ45 connector fault he found on my aerial....so I will have to wait for the Pukekohe one to be started as we definately have line of sight to it from here......down the drive actually and clar as a bell.....

I am looking forward to getting it going....

Regards
Laurie
