"OH GOD DAM" I have to write my post all over again due to some bad words?

But any way, This is for all you people out there who use Zone alarm.

Ive been using since i can remeber and every time i do a speed test i get around 1500kbs at the tops. Then my mate came and told me that Zone Alarm slows down your broadband. So i gave it a try to do it have have to fully uninstall Zone Alarm off you computer and i would say change to angitum outpost, i would say it is better than zone alarm by alot.

When i did this before with Zone Alarm i was getting speed around 1500kbs at the most but now i get speeds around 3000 to 4000kbs.

So give it a go might not work for everyone.
Please  get back to me if it does or doesnt work i would like to know..

Nyea I wouldnt be surprised if your internet was slowwed down by a software firewall. It would be something worth benchmarking though I reckon. In fact, I just might.

It is true - zone alarm does slow your computer down. Well, from what I have found anyway.
I am an appliance salesman and whenever I go out to a customer's house because 'ther computer wont connect to the internet' i always do a quick speed test if they have zone alarm installed, and yes the connection is always faster after I uninstall it.

I would imagine the cause of this, is the packet inspection it is performing on the data, and the limitations of your cpu. I have never run taskmanager at the same time as doing a speed test with zone alarm installed so I dont know if this is the true cause, but I always say to people, a software firewall will always slow you down.

Well, if you didn't write those bad words in the first place...
