I have just gotten myself setup with Compass wireless and its all good except that the my Wireless router needs to be rebooted every hour or so. Basically it just looses connectivity and any attached devices cannot browse anywhere - the internet connection is lost. Rebooting the wireless router resolves it. When I get this situation I still have a wireless connection to Compass - the VOIP phone still goes fine.
My wireless was connection was installed a couple of days ago and they reused my own wireless router - a Linksys WRT54G router. It was setup with a PPPoE Internet connection type and all, worked ok for an hour or so.. basically started getting issues about an hour or so after the installer left.
In hindsight, perhaps I should have gone with their router.. just called compass and, they suggest that the issue is likely to be my router.... but it has never had any issues previously .
Been looking around .. and seen some things related to MTU settings - just wondering of there is anything that I could be looking to change here.
Compass has also suggested that I could setup a PPPoE connection on a machine and put their feed into that... to see if it is the wireless router that is an issue here - I guess it makes sense to do this but, in some ways it doesn't really resolve the issue if it is related to the router. My feeling is that there must be something wrong in the configuration somewhere.
Have attached the basic settings from the wireless router.

Aside from this, I am in danger of giving Compass some positive feedback, because the whole process was pretty good, and when its going, the broadband is very good.
