Hi everyone, since i'm here on geekzone, i have found this forum very good and helpful. Probably you can advise me anything with my problem. :)

I'm looking for solution for higher upload speed, because i will need to upload videos/photos(for my friends and on some resources) which i will record at this spring/summer. Also i want to up small CS:S server with ZE/ZM mod for my friends and probably do public access as well + small website.

Requirements:

* 5-20+ upload speed. Download speed 3-5.  (Mbps)
* I really prefer to stay with Telecom, because they have highest service quality in Auckland. (My opinion).
* Traffic capacity 400+ GB/month, with prices like Telecom has on 500Gb plans.
* Static IP.
* Low ping connection.

My location is: Western Springs, Auckland 1022.
Current connection: ADSL2+ (everything good except upload speed)

UFB - not avaliable
VDSL - Installation declined (but technically possible)
Cable availability - Can't found where to check it.
Satellite connection - Not suitable.
3G/LTE and other Wireless - Not suitable.

Is it any solutions for me? (Thanks for the help anyway :))

*and Sorry about my terrible English.

Sorry about my English guys :>

Moving house, or waiting for ufb is really your only option.

If you really wanted to you could go for a multilink ADSL PPP Connection via an ISP who supports it. I know of a few places who have up to 3 way multilink which seems to work fine but higher than this is possible.

Depending on your exact location 5Mbps HSNA may be available. That is of course assuming price isn't a issue, because you made no mention of this.

There are also many wireless options available if you can see Sky Tower.

Doesn't quite meet your requirements, but...
If you are served by an exchange and it has been unbundled by Slingshot, then you can use ADSL2+ Annex M which supports up to 3meg upload speeds with similar or slightly lower downstream speeds to regular ADSL2+.

Certainly an inferior solution to the other suggestions here, but also a much cheaper one

Yea, its a good idea :) . But seems Telecom doesn't support it. I don't want to connect with Slingshot (I have a lot of friends, and they experienced poor connection quality, low speeds, almost all of them now jumped to Telecom or Orcon.).

Wireless solution == Unstable connection + high price. :<

I looking for the price of connection not more than $300. And monthly pay not more than $160.

For that price wireless is probably your only option and even then you will probably only get 5Mbps up with a tiny data allowance.
Wireless is by no means unstable. If anything it is better than fixed line some times.

If you are within the Chorus estimated VDSL zone on the coverage maps but your VDSL application was declined because the noise on your phone line was worse than the minimum VDSL specs, you could have a look at your Line attenuation figures on the modem.  If it is alot more than the estimation based on how far your house is from the Cabinet/Exchange you could raise a fault with Telecom, which might result in the connection being switched to a cleaner line with less noise.  That might then pass the Chorus minimum VDSL specs.

Chorus said - ask this questions you retail provider.

I'm on edge of VDSL avaliability. And i'm about 1.5 Km from Exchange/Cabinet. But i can still get higher upload speed on VDSL with current line, at least 5 Mbps, i don't care about down. speed.

I have bought master filter (will try to install it) today and will try to increase performance of the line.

[Click on it to get bigger image.]

On the right side is a bus with several connections form thick cable which goes form the earth to this box. There are 3 active connections only, my one is a blue Ethernet cable.

Just interesting, if i will use thicker cable or i will use 2 pairs in parallel for one connection for Router, does it will increase line quality?
I'm asking it because i have around 12-16 meters in-house cabling, with 1 pair of this ethernet cat5e cable.

And i have installed dunamix master filter > No difference, just get 150 more kpbs on download sync.
