Hi all

I've been living in wellington for 3 years in houses where I have had no control over the internet provider (unless wanting to get a separate connection - which I didn't).

I'm shifting back to Christchurch, into my house in Hei hei area soon - and feeling overwhelmed by the selection of providers available now.

I don't game, generally will use approx 80gig a month of data.

Who can recomend a good reliable provider?  I see my house isn't yet ready for fibre, but is for VSDL.  Previously I was with telstra, and the new vodafone plans look ok prices, but would really appreciate thoughts on providers / service and prices.

Thanks heaps

Anna

Snap! are in Christchurch, I use them up in AK and have had not a single issue with them.

Another vote for Snap!

They are definitely my provider of choice now.

Third for Snap! or you could go with Telecom. Their VDSL plans a pretty competitive and their network is really stable these days.

Nothing too special about their calling rates I don't think, seems to work OK though (although got an annoyance with Snap Plus at the moment where dialling long 0800 numbers isn't working, you have to truncate the number to 6 digits)

Either Telecom or Snap, Telecom may have better calling options?
