Is it just me (and my clients) or is something seriously wrong with the Xtra DNS servers. We changed the DNS for a .co.nz domain on Saturday and the domain has only been resolving through Xtra on an intermittent basis. It seems their DNS switches from using old information to new information and that their cache is not behaving like it should.

All attempts to access the domain from other ISP's (NZ and overseas) are 100% successful.

I had this problem with my domain years ago when I was an Xtra customer. I got so frustrated with their flaky/slow DNS update servers that I left Xtra and joined Paradise. When they asked why I switched, I gave the reason that their DNS isn't reliable.

And I see, Xtra still haven't sort out that problem still.
