I was just wondering if my current modem/router which has a WAN port (which I know is fine for VF Cable) will be usable when I switch to UFB next week (in theory)? I got the Tripleplay 150 from Slingshot but the Netgear has gigabit ports so I would prefer to be able to use it.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated :)

Yes, this "should" work fine with your fibre setup.

Yes,

As long as you can tag VLAN 10.

Yeah, the tagging VLAN 10 is the bit I am not sure about as I can't seem to find anything about it in the documentation.

Hopefully AidanS is right :)

I'd be surprised if it didn't, as they even advertise the machine has "fibre friendly".

Although being able to tag VLAN 10 would be the only thing that would stop it from being usable.

Best of luck!

DGND3700 (fibre ready) didn't support VLAN tagging. I can use it for my UFB because my ISP didn't require VLAN tagging

Therein lies the correct answer :)

If I have to use the Tripleplay I will. It will just suck if Slingshot end up going to 200 instead of the current 100.
