WHY IS THE APARTMENT AND MDU LINK UNDER REVIEW WHATS GONNA HAPPEN!!! MY MDU IS DUE IN JUNE. NOTHING BETTER CHANGE.!!!!

A
m I overreacting ?

OH I forgot to mention, I called Chorus and they said that its under review and would not give me any other information on the matter.

UPDATE:

Ok its been all sorted :D , I overreacted because I am so passionate about getting UFB and for that I'm sorry to waste peoples time.

However I did learn more which is a good thing.

  • MDU’s with modern cabling available for use by Chorus will be given priority, and install times for those that require fibre run to the floor will wait an eternity for service to be given.

It would be a good idea for a estimate in installation time to see what your MDU has running through the building.

Sorry for the rush post.

The link did successfully go to a section of Chorus's website that explained everything about UFB for apartments and MDU's ect BUT now its 404 not found they have removed the option completely from there website to find out anything about apartment installations and MDUs.

So i was just curious why this would happen.

Sorry I love Geekzone, hope Im not ruining it.

I guess I should of to save on thread posts but this seemed a little different if it is a serious issue.

that thread was just for tips on how to smoothly secure MDU UFB installation I guess.

Not sure what you are posting about, the link you have posted does not go anywhere valid.

The MDU process remains as it was prior to recent announcements.

Available at: http://www.chorus.co.nz/ufb-consents

If there is a particular issue or concern you have feel free to PM me.

I don't know what SoberJoker was referring to specifically, but http://www.chorus.co.nz/ufb-installation-terms contains a link to http://www.chorus.co.nz/apartments, which 404s.

Additionally, under http://www.chorus.co.nz/ufb-consents > Rights of Way, the "Step 2" document links all 404.

Thanks Behodar,

The web pixies are sprinkling 404-fixing-dust as we speak.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Sorry guys frown

Its obvious I overreacted, I failed to notice the change on Chorus's website and went into a panic when i noticed the old link for apartments and mdu's was mia.

I see now they have a link for MDU's in a different area of the page, lol it was right in front of me.

please excuse me while I hide in the cupboard.

On another note I found some cool posts from DTS, good read.
