I live in a 4 story townhouse that is part of a small 10 unit complex. Our unit is about 40m away from the roadside. I heard that the fibre installation to residential MDU's has been altered this year & properties over 3 stories may now require a 'contribution' from landowners/body corporates (as the cost is no longer fully funded by the government?).

If we got fiber installed, we'd get the ONT installed by the tv on the third floor. Despite being 4 stories and part of an MDU, if the ONT was installed on the third floor would the government subsidy likely cover the whole install?
