I have the Linksys WAG120N and it can't tell me my line stats, it's a feature that was just not added to this modem. I have always been curious about what my stats are and it's annoying not having access to them. Can I obtain my line stats any other way?

I was hoping for a way to look at it myself. I am with Vodafone but when I emailed ages ago they said "Unfortunately we don't have access to that information from here".

Correct email team would not have access to that INFO, You would be best to call the tech team and request them

Yep... ask them to run a LQD test in SPM and ask them to email you the pretty graphs that it produces.

Are you sure it's not under the status tab (then DSL status)?

The manual suggests that the stats should be available.

Some sites say that link shows stats on the 120

This is what I get
and I managed to get to this page that should show stats but it doesn't.

I have looked into this quite a bit and no one can get stats to show up.

Perhaps update the firmware on it? It might fix the stats not displaying.
If not you can get ADSL modems pretty cheaply on trademe.

LQD is a Line Quality Detailed report. This is run in a Chorus tool called Service Performance Manager which you need to work for a retail service provider to get access to the tool to let to run reports against your customers.

It produces very detailed information. But you need to do work for the rsp and have a login to the Chorus portal.

The .16 version of the firmware puts numbers into the Attenuation and Noise Margin fields but they are appear to be meaningless.

DSL Noise Margin:     126 dB       113 dB
DSL Attenuation:      126 dB       274 dB
DSL Transmit Power:  -382 dBm     -422 dBm

The .16 firmware was apparently really buggy so it was pulled.

I don't know how true that is, AFAIK it was the firmware delivered with the modem I pulled those figures from. What is true is that you won't get anything other than the connected speeds from this model.

It's been a week since I got a reply from them telling me it would be passed on to the technical team, I hope I hear back with results soon.
