Chorus will tell you / your ISP if you are not able to get VDSL.

Chorus should install the master filter in the ETP, if the house doesn't have one outside it will be the master jack inside the house.

If you believe they have installed it wrong then contact your ISP, if they send a technician and find no fault then you may be charged a fee.

That looks like the ETP, though I can't give you a 100% guarantee without seeing the wiring.

The master filter is usually installed in there with one jack dedicated to Internet and the rest for landline.

If this is not the case I would recommend asking your ISP to acquire a reason from Chorus as to why it was not installed in the ETP.

Sweet ok given that I an currently moving isp and I taken the full instill do I talk to the chorus guy or girl when they come or given my isp atm is snap do I call n ask them.
given that we are in a old rest home do I ask if they can re the wire from the etp to the jack or is this not allow and for the free full install are we allow to move where the jack is as there is no power near it can we get it moved to across the hill so we don't have to have cords running across the floor

If anyone from slingshot can comment on this it would be great

Have a chat with the Chorus Technician when they come out.

A full installation covers installing a master filter, installing a dedicated Internet jack at your preferred location (if reasonable) and the wiring from the master filter to the dedicated jack.

Contact slingshot for any of your queries about install.
