Fibre within 12 months at my old house up in Christchurch, still no Chorus schedule for my house down here Dunedin :/

Take this announcement with a grain of salt, we were on the list to have fibre laid in by july 2014 about 3-4 months ago, our address status change from should be installed by july 2014 to being sorry coverage is not yet available at your place. So basically we went from should be having it by now to being who knows when you will get it. I emailed them about it and got a very generic response , no indication of time frame not even ball park. just look at the quality of that map on stuff you have no hope of getting any idea about their plans apart from oh yes that is in the west of the city. IMO enable is the worst of all the LFC's all the others seem to be releasing ground breaking speeds and cut price wholesale plans were as enable is just content with sitting by, competitive situation? seems like a monopoly to me. Give me chorus any day.

I would have to agree as well.

Compared to the other LFC's their communication and information is pretty poor.

Old flat is getting it any minute now (literally street was being done the weekend I moved out)
