Hi and apologies if this isnt in the right place.

I have a DSLAM (Ericsson EDA1200 - no not the buggy blue one) which I am trying to configure. Am familiar with TL1 and can access via CLI most functions but not all.

Is there an Ericsson DSLAM geek out there? Or anyone on here from Alcatel-Lucent who might be able to provide some admin doco? Ericsson are not interested, unsurprising really given it is now EOL...

Tia :-)

Adrian

Curious as to why you have your own DSLAM? Is it for learning

They are fairly cheap and I do enjoy playing in the uber-telco-geek space ;-)

I am learning about it and do want to set it up to see if I can get all the functions running correctly. Do you have any experience with these?

Many thanks - have robbed freegate but still missing the admin and PEM guides. Specifically after ecn212/f admin and Ericsson's TL1 specifics

Welllll...if I could tell you that...might not need the admin guides ;-) seriously though they are a high performance unit only EOL'd 2 years ago so still quite current gear, I'd _imagine_ they are very efficient...but can't tell you just yet
