According to the chorus UFB map, there is no ETA on availability.
What I find interesting and a bit baffling is a close area on the other side of the motorway which is going to be enabled by 2016.  This area is nothing but a couple of parks and extended car parking from the stadium - oh and a lot of bush.

A couple of years ago when we built, I could have sworn I saw some of the infrastructure being laid in our street.

Anyone know who or how I can find a bit more information about our area?

you cant, you have to just sit there and wait for it to become available. its the nature of the beast unfortunately.

the infrastructure you talk about could have been for a school, for a hospital, high priority users essentially.

I just looked up Fairview Heights on Chorus's map and it says fibre is available right now - do you have a specific address?

Only a small part of Fairview has UFB - which might be the retirement village as it has a hospital there, the rest of us are in the white on the chorus map.  Guess we will have to wait till 2019 :(

If you aren't on the current forecast map then no plans have yet been done done your area. You're not going to find out any more than that.

The reality is UFB isn't an overnight job, and the real world reality is some people will need to wait until 2019.

Had date for my area shortly after I moved in, then a few months later the dates were removed and nothing since. Yet one block either side of me are getting it installed right now.
So i feel your pain :-p

Without knowing at least a street it's difficult to say what might happen anyway.
I believe the rollout is being done by street, not by entire suburbs.
I have fibre available to me right now (although I don't have it) yet my neighbours on the other side of the road can't get it at all.

I watched them dig UFB at the top of our street, they went down a side street so I missed out by 3 houses it seems frown no date for when I'll get UFB now.

I'm in Fairview Heights and have UFB, in a new development that was just built in Feb this year.

Guess they thought it pointless to run copper, so the new houses have access to UFB.

Not sure if the cabinet services any other properties or just the new ones...

Interesting, the only development I can think of after we built was off Travis View Dr - there's a new development about to open further up.
We are on Hornbill.

You're scheduled to get it between 2016 and 2020. In the interim, you can get VDSL smile
