Does anyone know how accurate Enables map is? They have just started work in our area, however if i look at their map, the first 30 houses (in our 40 house street) are getting fibre soon but the other 10 or so houses aren't. It just doesn't make sense to me why they wouldn't do the whole street at once, so they don't have to come back a second time. Can anyone here offer me any insight into whats going on?

Can you please link what map you are looking at? As far as I knew enables map was just an outline.

If you enter an address it will tell you if you are getting fibre before July.

Enables incompetence with mapping is well documented here:http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=135&topicid=155930 and giving people some indication on when the service might be coming to areas is far too hard If you're not in the plan for rollout before July 2015 the address checker will just tell you where to go. With some ISPs locking into 2 year contracts it would be nice to have an indication on when you might be getting ufb so you can make an informed decision when shopping round for internet deals on xdsl and cable.

Enables map is terrible, updates poor and doesnt look like maintain long term goals (at least past july 2015).

Doesnt look like they are aware of this and we havent seen any response from enable on gz yet.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I can ping the Spark account manager who is very responsive and always found him excellent.

Not sure how accurate Enable is but I know the Spark prequalification data is constantly being updated to reflect current build from all 4 LFCs.
