Hi.

I live in Dunedin and our ISP is Unifone which is satellite. It's a wifi hotspot so we don't have a router in the house just a dish on the roof. I've got a galaxy s3 running android 4.1.2 and it's rooted.

I mucked around with the wifi configs and now my phone won't connect to my network. It just keeps saying disabled.

I posted a detailed explanation of what I did in the android forum. I have tried everything except a factory reset.

I don't think anyone can help because I've had no replies so I might have to do a factory reset. I just didn't want to because I'll lose all my photos and it might not even work. I only have my phone and no other devices like laptops or computers or anything.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Disabled normally means that the password that was entered to connect with is incorrect, have you tried forgetting the network and trying to reconnect again? I would 99% say that it's not an issue with the phone so you shouldn't have to wipe everything.
