Was just talking to another guy who lives near here who had to change his router to get a stable connection, We had to replace the rta-1320 for an old billion that syncs much slower to get it stable and has other stability issues.

Just wondering if there is some larger fault or if its just coincidence that 2 flaked out at about the same time in close proximity. We are getting a second dsl connection in here in a few weeks time so if there are issues now I want to know what to check out in the first 2 weeks when I can get rid of it if its not good enough.

Yeah i'm in beachaven and my internet has been terrible lately. About a month ago my internet would disconnect at peak hours and not reconnect for a few hours (i'm guessing because of a full exchange?) but then that stopped and it was fine for a few weeks. But then the school holidays have come and i can barely connect to the net at all, i'm lucky if i can get on for about an hour a day. I've rang my isp and all they can tell me to do is try a new router/line filters. So i will try that when i get home from work and see what happens. zz
