...so much for progression. I'm on wireless broadband becuase it's the only option in the rural area where I live. I've just switched back to the old xtra because bubble seems to be totally incompatible with wireless broadband. Frozen screens...long delays....hair pulling....it's a pig of a combo. I'm interested to learn if anyone else is experiencing the same problems. Cheers pip

Just spoke to a work-mate who has the bubble page as her home page on her mobile broadband account.  She has asked do you have an xtra email account?  She pays $2.80, I think, to keep her xtra email address...  It goes on her telecom landline account.  I want one but cannot add it to my husbands landline account.  Not sure if you can do it if your landline is with another carrier.  My thought is, though, would it make any difference if you are out of mobile broadband coverage and just in the CDMA area?  Telecom's data helpdesk number is 0800400909 if you want to take it up with them...

I'm a bit puzzled when you mean the 'old xtra', do you mean the non bubble website (both websites are separate from the connection itself)? Frozen screens certainly make it sound like it could be a browser issue.

I think it is a browser issue but I wasn't having any problems before the xtra bubble changeover. Telecom suggested I switched back to the old xtra.co.nz (pre bubble) because the problem is an xtra bubble compatibility issue with wireless broadband.
