Hi there, can anyone give me an idea when Ultrfast will be rolled out to Temple View Hamilton NZ.
We are the gateway to Hamilton City from South West
Have tried to get answers from Chorus or Ultrafast to no avail, surely some one knows.

Chorus aren't doing Hamilton, so you won't get any result from their site.

According to http://www.ultrafastfibre.co.nz/getting-connected/address-finder

Temple View is outside of UFF's build area.

T
hat's the UFF overview, Temple View is not marked, combined with the address checker saying not in the coverage area I'd say your never getting UFB.

Seems pretty sill considering we are a suburb of Hamilton, VDSL is available in most areas of Hamilton anyway. Go figure

looking at google maps you seem to be a rural suburb of Hamilton, not an urban one

Temple View might legally be a suburb of Hamilton, but it's only been one for about a decade (I was living in Dinsdale when it happened), its very much physically separate from the main city, and is probably not economically viable to get UFB due to it's small size and population.

Yeah, as a rural site I doubt that Temple View is going to be covered by the UFF roll-out, because as far as I can tell they seem to be only doing areas that have a proper telephone exchange building, not a UAX or remote fed cabinet, and templeview is all remote fed from Frankton. I wouldn't hold your breath.

Funny how half of Flagstaff, Rototuna in Hamilton would be classed as a rural suburb and they will still get it.
What annoys me is when I got in touch with Ultrfast 2 years ago they said 2015 and that doesn't appear to be happening now.
My guess is that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will pay to have it rolled out here privately like they have with ADSL and VDSL.

Anyone can pay to get a custom fibre install to a remote location, provided they have the cash.

The porky German with all the legal problems paid something like $100,000 to have it rolled out to that Coatsville mansion he lives in.

Very likely, but Flagstaff actually has it's own exchange building, and Rototuna is a bit like Dinsdale - it's just lumped in as another part of Claudelands.
