Hi all.

I am building a basic frequency detecting circuit to detect when DSL frequencies are detected on a phone line. I have built the circuit and it can detect an exact frequency between 10kHz and 30kHz. Does anybody know what these frequencies are in New Zealand and are they different for ADSL/VDSL, different locations and different ISP's?

Plus you won't get anything on the line until the client side CPE kicks off the negotiation.

So you will need a xDSL modem on your side to hear anything.
