Is anyone else experiencing loss off UFB service in Christchurch right now? I'm in Bishopdale. It was working normally then came to a screeching halt at 5.50pm. The lights on the ONT are normal but webpages just will not load.

Could you please for starters turn your router off and on again followed by your ONT? Have you contacted Spark about this issue?

LOL yes I contacted myself, and after I made some enquiries with myself using my work laptop connected to VPN via mobile hotspot, I discovered that my datacap had kicked in, although I did not receive any email alert. I will be raising this with my provider Spark immediately. However, compounding the issue is that my modem also appears to have crapped itself at roughly the same time as my throttle kicked in.

Fortunately I had a spare modem, so I asked myself to plug that in, which I have done, and I have now managed to restore service for myself - albeit throttled.

That doesn't explain why my workmate also lost service at the same time....... her service has since restored itself. I will investigate tomorrow.

So false alarm people - there is no UFB outage, you can all go back to watching MKR now lol

Excellent response! Glad you found a very skilled staff-member to sort it for you.

Kudos to the Spark employee that helped you!
