I'm a Spark ADSL/home phone user, use Genesis for gas and Meridian for electricity. Our street is having fibre laid, and Transpower have mailed me enticing me with a $49 per month unlimited broadband deal, with home phone calling rates comparable to Spark, plus 5-10% better rates on gas and power than my current providers.
The $49/month is for one year, with a $79/month maximum for the year after. Spark have offered to match that, but can't do the gas and power. So I'm currently thinking of switching to Transpower, but feel a little nervous about getting broadband service from a power company.
If you get your broadband from Transpower, what's your experience been like?
Many thanks!
