This modem is the free one you get when signing up for Xtra broadband.

I'm trying to do some simple port-forwarding in it, but my changes don't seem to stick (even when I click save and reboot from the options).

Has anyone else been able to get the advanced features of this modem working?

I've had no issues setting up port forwarding on that modem with Firefox or IE6

I'm trying to setup a webserver on the local network, so port forwarding port 80.

I go to Virtual Server > Advanced, and then select Web Server from Available Rules and I click Add to add it to the Applied Rules.  The window refreshes but Web Server still doesn't appear on the list of Applied Rules.

I've set the modem's web console to use port 8080, but can't understand why it won't let me setup a webserver.

Any ideas?

Try setting a custom rule with port 80?

Cheers for that, works now like a charm.

Weird how the Web Server entry that's already there doesn't work.
