For the last couple of months I've been looking around for a good deal to sign up to broadband and also looking for a replacement for our clapped out cordless phone. 
Solved both problems in one go by taking up a Telecom special for 2-Months Free Broadband Plan Charges (on a years contract) plus an extra $50 credit to your account if you have your own modem. 
They are also offering a 'get a free phone if you switch tolls back to us' deal, so (as I make all my toll calls with a prepaid phonecard anyway) I took that up as well which in total adds up to around a $200 saving.  For my needs, it's a pretty good deal.
