Hi All,

Soon I'll be moving to Parnell and according to Chorus UFB map, the light blue area won't have UFB until Jul-2017.

Of course I'll be in that area. undecided

Would be interesting if someone from Chorus could give some further info about why only that "small" (comparatively) area couldn't get it...? Just out of curiosity...

Anyway, seems like they have found a very specific block in that area. Doesn't seem to be arbitrary...

It might be worth getting your ISP to do a prequalification. We've got Fibre in a few places around Parnell/Grafton where the map still shows 2017/2018 install dates!

Thanks for the suggestion. Just did it and it's really not available. Two buildings away, it's available.

 

The consolation prize is VDSL seems to be far better than in my previous place.
