I see allot of NZ ISPs offer deals with 6 months free Neon or Lightbox, but both of these are kinda terrible compared to netflix.

Do any of the ISPs here offer discounts on Netflix as a new customer? I've not seen any yet.

From a marketing perspective I would see no need for Netflix to give their product away to attract new customers when they've got no problem attracting new paying customers. All the others on the other hand are very small competitors willing to offer such deals to get customers.

Vodafone were for a while, but I haven't seen any deals in a long time.

I wouldn't want Neon anyway - a whole lot of old TV shows in SD? I can't believe they charge so much for it too, compared to what else is available out there.

I got an email from Lightbox giving me a Neon voucher last night... got Neon and Lightroom vouchers coming from everywhere but can't be bothered using them unless they bring out Apple TV app

Lightbox offering neon? That's plain Wierd.

I saw Quickflix dos something similar a few months back and commentary suggested that was a sign that neon was about to buy Quickflix (that hasn't happened yet). So I wonder why lightbox would do the same?
